ShipBob Competitors: 12 ShipBob Alternatives and Who Each One Fits

Carissa Spisak·Updated September 23, 2026·Add Fulfill as a preferred source on Google

Looking for ShipBob competitors, or the best ShipBob alternatives for your ecommerce fulfillment needs?

This guide compares twelve 3PLs that do the job ShipBob does: store your inventory, pick and pack your orders, and ship them to your customers. For each one we list where it ships from, what it is built for, and the kind of brand it fits. It was last checked against each provider’s own website in September 2026.

With Fulfill.com’s industry knowledge, we’ll help you discover fulfillment partners that fit your specific needs. We’re here to support you in increasing efficiency and scaling your operations.

Why Brands Look Beyond ShipBob

ShipBob runs a large, standardized network: it says it ships from 50+ global locations and encourages brands to split inventory across its fulfillment centers to cut shipping costs and transit times. That model suits many small and mid-size DTC brands. The reasons brands shop around are usually specific:

  • Product profile: oversized, heavy or fragile items that need freight options or special handling.
  • Service model: wanting a named account team and a direct line to the warehouse floor.
  • Channel mix: retail and B2B orders with routing guides and EDI alongside DTC.
  • Geography: inventory in Canada, the UK or the EU, or one central warehouse instead of a split network.
  • Price: ShipBob quotes pricing per brand, so the only way to know whether another 3PL costs less is to compare quotes on your own order profile.

How We Chose These Alternatives

Every provider on this list meets three tests:

  1. It has an active profile in the Fulfill.com 3PL directory.
  2. It offers the service ShipBob sells: outsourced ecommerce fulfillment (receiving, storage, pick, pack and ship) from warehouses it operates.
  3. Its own website publishes the facts we quote here, which we checked in September 2026.

The order below is not a ranking. Freight-only providers, marketplaces and shipping software are left off the main list; the software question is answered further down.

Key Differentiators

  • Same-day order processing.
  • Customizable fulfillment services, including kitting, bundling and subscription box kitting.

Why Choose Selery

Selery’s emphasis on simplicity, transparency, and scalability makes it a strong contender for businesses looking for a reliable ShipBob alternative, especially those focused on long-term growth.

AP Express

AP Express logo

AP Express Logistics is a 3PL and transportation company founded in 1992, with warehouses in Southern California and Las Vegas and its own truck fleet. It runs ecommerce fulfillment, retail distribution and Amazon FBA and FBM work from the same network.

Key Differentiators

  • Asset-based trucking with lift gates across California and Nevada.
  • A named account team for every client: a general manager, an account manager and a customer success representative.

Why Choose AP Express

AP Express is ideal for brands whose customers and retail partners are concentrated in the western US. Its ability to support multi-channel operations makes it a worthy alternative to ShipBob.

Shipfusion

Shipfusion logo

Shipfusion runs fulfillment centers in Toronto, Chicago, Las Vegas and York, Pennsylvania, with Dallas listed as coming soon, and more than 1M square feet in total. It says it is built for fast-growing brands shipping 2,000+ orders per month, with a focus on supplements, beauty, food and beverage, and pet products.

Key Differentiators

  • In-house technology with visibility into inventory, orders and billing.
  • Dedicated account management with no service tiers.
  • A Canadian facility alongside the US network, for brands that sell in both countries.

Why Choose Shipfusion

Shipfusion suits DTC brands past the startup stage that sell in both the US and Canada. Its in-house technology and account model make it a top-tier ShipBob alternative.

Red Stag Fulfillment

Red Stag Fulfillment logo

Red Stag Fulfillment serves enterprise and fast-growing brands across DTC, retail, and marketplace channels. Founded by ecommerce operators in 2013, it specializes in big, heavy, and bulky products with both parcel and freight shipping; its own pitch is “products bigger than a toaster or heavier than 10 pounds.”

Key Differentiators

  • Comprehensive omnichannel capabilities, including DTC parcels and pallets, retail distribution, and Amazon solutions (FBA prep, Seller Fulfilled Prime, FBM).
  • Guarantees on zero shrinkage, zero mispicks and zero late shipments. If it misses a commitment, Red Stag says it pays to make it right.
  • Two warehouses by design: Sweetwater, Tennessee and Salt Lake City, Utah, which Red Stag says reach 96% of the US population in two days by ground.
  • Value-added services include kitting, bundling, custom packaging, light assembly, relabeling, returns processing, and a dedicated logistics team for inbound and outbound freight coordination.

Why Choose Red Stag Fulfillment

Red Stag Fulfillment is an excellent choice for brands needing reliable omnichannel fulfillment backed by performance guarantees. Its focus on big and heavy products makes it a standout ShipBob alternative. For more providers that handle oversized goods, browse our big and bulky 3PL directory.

Ecom Logistics

Ecom Logistics logo

Ecom Logistics, whose website moved from EcomLogistics.ca to ShipEcom.com, combines fulfillment, last-mile delivery and freight under one operator. Why Choose Ecom Logistics

Ecom Logistics is ideal for brands with a large Canadian customer base that want fulfillment and delivery from one team. Its tailored approach makes it a strong contender for a ShipBob alternative.

ShipMonk

ShipMonk is one of the closest like-for-like competitors to ShipBob: a tech-led 3PL with its own software and a multi-node network. It runs owned and operated fulfillment centers in Las Vegas, Fort Worth, Pittston (Pennsylvania) and Louisville in the US, Brampton in Canada, and Coalville (UK) and Cheb (Czech Republic) in Europe.

Stord pairs fulfillment with its own software, including an order management system, a WMS, order routing and returns. It runs facilities in fifteen North American nodes, backed by an expanded network of over 80 partner facilities, and says it covers 99% of the US in under two days. Its flagship warehouse is in Atlanta.

  • Customers named on its site include AG1, Native and Tula.

Why Choose Stord

Stord suits mid-market and enterprise omnichannel brands that want their fulfillment network and order software run by one partner.

Flexport

If you are comparing ShipBob with Deliverr, this is where Deliverr went. Flexport acquired Shopify Logistics, including Deliverr, in 2023, and now runs ecommerce fulfillment as part of a platform that also covers ocean and air freight and customs. It operates five fulfillment centers itself, and on September 2, 2026 it launched its first international fulfillment services in Mississauga, Canada and Manchester, England.

Key Differentiators

  • Freight, customs, distribution and DTC fulfillment under one provider.
  • Integrations with Shopify, Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, SHEIN and 45 other platforms.
  • B2B fulfillment, returns processing, and trade finance on terms of up to 120 days.

Why Choose Flexport

Flexport fits brands that import their own goods and want one provider from the factory to the customer’s door, rather than a separate forwarder and 3PL.

The Fulfillment Lab

The Fulfillment Lab says it runs 2 domestic and 12 international fulfillment facilities, and receives and stores your inventory at whichever is best placed for your customers. Its pitch is “fulfillment marketing”: using the package itself as a marketing channel.

Key Differentiators

  • Custom packaging and inserts driven by your marketing data.
  • Same-day order processing through its own software.
  • Integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Squarespace and subscription CRMs such as Konnektive.

Why Choose The Fulfillment Lab

The Fulfillment Lab suits brands that sell internationally or want the unboxing experience to do marketing work.

How to Choose the Best ShipBob Alternative

Narrowing down the list of the best ShipBob competitors starts with assessing your business’s unique needs. Consider these factors:

  1. Order Volume: Determine your average and peak order volumes to find a provider that can scale with your business and existing sales channels.
  2. Shipping Zones: Identify where most of your customer base is located and prioritize providers with fulfillment centers in those regions to reduce shipping times and lower costs.
  3. Fulfillment Speed: Decide whether you need standard, expedited, or same-day delivery options based on customer expectations.
  4. Specialized Services: If your products require specific handling, such as cold storage, hazmat compliance, or custom kitting, check if the service provider has experience in these areas.

Once you’ve identified your requirements, evaluate potential 3PLs based on the following criteria:

  • Key Features: Look for advanced technology integrations (like warehouse management system (WMS) or order management software (OMS)), real-time tracking, and value-added services like branded packaging or returns management.
  • Pricing: Review all fulfillment costs, including storage, pick-and-pack fees, shipping rates, and any additional charges, to understand the total cost of service.
  • Customer Support: Check out user reviews and choose a provider with a responsive, knowledgeable support team to resolve issues quickly and maintain smooth business operations.

Which ShipBob Alternative Is Cheapest?

There is no single answer, and any list that names one without seeing your orders is guessing. ShipBob’s own pricing page is a quote request form, and so is the pricing process at most of the 3PLs above. What you pay depends on your order volume, units per order, product size and weight, and where your customers live.

Compare quotes line by line: receiving, storage, pick and pack, packaging, shipping and any monthly minimum. ShipMonk, for example, splits its pricing into storage, fulfillment fees, special projects and shipping. Our 3PL pricing guide explains each fee, and the fulfillment cost calculator turns a quote into a per-order figure you can compare side by side.

Check shipping as closely as the fulfillment fees. A warehouse closer to your customers crosses fewer shipping zones, and that can outweigh a lower pick-and-pack rate somewhere else.

Software and FBA Alternatives

Some searches for ShipBob alternatives are really about software. ShipStation, Shippo, Pirate Ship and Stamps.com are shipping tools: they buy labels and track shipments, but you still store, pick and pack the orders yourself. They replace ShipBob only if you plan to bring fulfillment back in-house. ShipBob itself also sells a warehouse management system to brands that run their own warehouse.

Amazon FBA is Amazon’s own fulfillment program, built around Amazon orders; Amazon also offers Multichannel Fulfillment, which picks, packs and ships orders from non-Amazon sales channels. Brands that sell heavily on Shopify, TikTok Shop or wholesale often still choose a 3PL that runs every channel from one pool of inventory, with their own packaging and retail compliance. Several providers above, including Deliverzen, AP Express, Moby Dick 3PL and Red Stag, also prep inventory for FBA.

How to Switch From ShipBob

Switching 3PLs is a project with a start and an end date. Plan it around these steps, and read our full guide to switching 3PL providers before you sign.

  1. Pick the window. Move outside your peak season, and read your current contract for notice periods and fees for pulling inventory out.
  2. Map your catalog. Match every SKU, barcode and kit so the new warehouse receives exactly what your store sells.
  3. Move stock in waves. Keep shipping from ShipBob while the first wave is received and counted at the new 3PL.
  4. Reconnect your channels. If your store, marketplaces and ERP each connect straight to ShipBob, every one of those connections has to be rebuilt. An order operations layer such as Pipe17, which says it maintains 300+ pre-configured connectors across sales channels, 3PLs and ERPs, lets you point orders at the new warehouse from one place and keeps that connection if you add a second 3PL later.
  5. Run both in parallel. Split orders until the new 3PL hits your accuracy and on-time targets, then send the remaining stock.
Table of the five switching steps. ShipBob ships every order while you pick the window, map your catalog, move the first wave of stock and reconnect your channels. During the parallel run ShipBob and the new 3PL each ship a share of orders. Once the new 3PL hits its targets, the remaining stock moves and the new 3PL ships every order.

Some providers help with the move itself. AP Express says it manages customer moves with its own trucks, at cost, and Selery’s 90-day guarantee covers the cost of moving you on if the fit is wrong. Ask each finalist for its onboarding plan, using our 3PL evaluation questions.
