Turtlebox Unlocks Southeast Growth with Fulfill and All Points Logistics
Learn how Turtlebox, an outdoor audio brand known for rugged portable speakers, partnered with Fulfill to expand into the Southeast, achieving faster delivery times, significant logistics cost savings, and enhanced inventory visibility to better serve their growing customer base.
Annual Fulfillment Cost Savings
Reduction in Delivery Times
Day Delivery in Southeastern markets
Turtlebox is an outdoor audio brand known for producing rugged, high-performance portable speakers built to handle extreme conditions. With an already strong presence in the Central and Western U.S. through existing 3PL partnerships in Houston and Los Angeles, Turtlebox sought to strengthen its fulfillment footprint in the Southeast to improve shipping speeds and customer satisfaction.
TurtleBox Audio needed a Southeast warehouse to reduce coverage gaps and improve delivery times.
Despite having efficient operations in Houston and LA, Turtlebox realized that customers in the Southeastern U.S, including Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Carolinas, were experiencing longer shipping times. Orders from Houston to the Southeast typically took 2–3 days to arrive, while Turtlebox aimed to achieve 1–2 day delivery windows nationwide.
Beyond speed, shipping from Houston to the Southeast was not cost-optimal. With increasing demand in the region, the team needed a fulfillment solution that would reduce transit times and optimize last-mile costs. TurtleBox Audio tried searching for a new 3PL through several other parties including freight and carrier rate partners, but struggled to find the right fit.
Turtlebox turned to Fulfill.com for help finding a strategic 3PL partner in the Southeast. Already familiar with Fulfill.com from past searches, the Turtlebox team knew the platform’s vetting process and curated network would streamline their decision-making. They also explored options through C.H. Robinson and ShipStation (owned by Auctane), but Fulfill.com’s process stood out for its responsiveness, cost clarity, and ease of execution.
"They weren’t just trying to win our business - they really understood what we needed."
Fulfill matched TurtleBox Audio with All Points for faster delivery times and improved shipping costs.
After evaluating five Fulfill.com recommended 3PLs, Turtlebox selected All Points for several key reasons:
- Cost Savings: All Points came in nearly 23% cheaper annually than other options based on Turtlebox’s projected order volume.
- Responsive Yet Low-Pressure Sales: The All Points team impressed Turtlebox with professional, non-pushy communication.
- Technical Sophistication: Turtlebox valued the engineering talent at All Points, as well as their warehouse management system, Veracore.
"We’ve been really happy, especially for our bigger dealer orders and multi-unit shipments. The domestic rates we get through them are a big plus."
Turtlebox cut delivery times by 33%, improved inventory visibility, and reduced “Ranger” shipping costs with All Points.
Reduced Shipping Times in the Southeast
By routing orders from the new Atlanta 3PL, Turtlebox successfully reduced delivery times to 1–2 days for key Southeastern markets, matching performance already achieved in other regions.
Improved Inventory Visibility
Turtlebox now uses Veracore for real-time inventory tracking at the Atlanta facility. Even without directly integrating with the company’s main system (Extensiv), visibility remains strong, with plans to improve order batching using ShipStation for enhanced efficiency.
Cost Optimization on Carrier Rates
While carrier rates were comparable to Turtlebox’s corporate UPS account for the larger models, All Points offered better pricing on smaller parcel shipments, particularly for the company’s fast-selling “Ranger” speaker model.
"As long as you do your homework - review budgets, ask the right questions, and use a partner like Fulfill - you’ll find the right fit. That made all the difference for us."
