Teamship

Teamship is a cloud warehouse management system designed from the ground up for third-party logistics providers, distributors, and fulfillment operations. Unlike generic warehouse software adapted for multi-client use, Teamship places multi-client inventory separation, per-client billing, and a self-serve client portal at the core of the platform. The system covers the entire warehouse workflow from dock to dispatch: receiving and putaway, inventory and traceability, picking and fulfillment, shipping, billing, and reporting. Hosted on AWS with enterprise-grade encryption and role-based access controls, it runs on any device with a browser, including iOS, Android, desktops, tablets, and rugged barcode scan guns.

A key differentiator is Teamship's automated 3PL billing engine, which captures every billable activity (storage, receiving, pick-and-pack, shipping) and applies per-client pricing rules, syncing invoices directly to QuickBooks. This eliminates the billing leakage that commonly plagues 3PLs using disconnected tools. The platform also supports industry-specific workflows across verticals including food and beverage distribution (with FEFO and lot tracking), pharmaceutical and medical distribution (with serial-level traceability and recall readiness), industrial parts distribution (with deep catalog management), wholesale distribution, and direct-to-consumer ecommerce fulfillment.

Teamship contains over 340 integrations spanning sales channels (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, eBay), accounting tools (QuickBooks), ERPs, shipping carriers, and EDI partners. The platform is also introducing TeamMate AI, currently in beta, which adds AI agents for reporting, dashboard creation, and customer service tasks. With features like wave planning, pick-path optimization, cycle counting, kitting and bundling, and branded label generation compliant with retailer routing guides and SSCC requirements, Teamship positions itself as a single-platform replacement for the patchwork of spreadsheets, legacy WMS, and separate billing tools that many 3PLs still rely on.
