Chain is an AI-native platform purpose-built for freight brokerages, designed to replace the manual, repetitive work of tracking shipments with intelligent automation. Founded by Annalise Sandhu and Paramvir Sandhu, who previously ran their own trucking company, Chain was born from firsthand experience with the inefficiencies of manual freight operations. After selling their trucking assets and teaching themselves to code, the founders set out to solve the industry's biggest bottleneck: unnecessary manual work in track and trace.

The platform's core offering revolves around three pillars: AI-powered visibility, automated carrier communication, and workflow automation. Chain's Autopilot feature uses AI agents to automate check calls, collect proof of delivery documents, answer driver and dispatcher questions, and update TMS status automatically. Unlike traditional visibility tools that simply display a dot on a map, Chain pulls location data from multiple sources including ELDs, carrier portals, rail feeds, app pings, and even email updates, then acts on that data in real time. The platform also includes AI fraud detection that flags synthetic GPS, mismatched driver IDs, and location anomalies, as well as predictive exception handling that identifies missed pickups or at-risk deliveries before problems escalate.

Chain integrates with a broad ecosystem of TMS platforms, ELD providers, visibility networks, and pricing tools through its App Store, enabling one-click connectivity. The platform seamlessly shares tracking data with customer-facing platforms like FourKites and Project44, and connects to TMS systems including McLeod, Tai, MercuryGate, Revenova, 3GTMS, Turvo, and Sunnybrook. Customer results speak to the platform's impact: Kingsgate Logistics achieved 84% zero-touch loads, LGI reclaimed 15+ hours per rep weekly, and American Logistics standardized tracking across 57 agent offices using Chain.
