droplinked
One Catalog, Many Places to Sell
droplinked is a commerce platform. You can launch a storefront on it or connect the store you already run, then sell physical products, digital products and services from one catalog that it syndicates to shopping feeds, affiliate partners and AI shopping agents. Checkout takes cards, wallets, regional payment methods and stablecoins, and it can sync stock from your WMS or inventory system so counts stay current everywhere you sell. It suits a seller who wants to push one catalog to several channels rather than build a traditional website.
Price and fees: droplinked lists a $0 Starter plan, Pro at $5 a month ($4.50 a month billed yearly, or $54 a year) and Premium at $20 a month ($18 a month billed yearly, or $216 a year). Warehouse integration is listed from Pro.
Most small businesses can narrow this list with five questions:
What will it cost at your sales volume? Add the plan, any platform transaction fee and card processing. BigCommerce, Volusion and Sellfy tie plans to yearly sales, so price the tier you will be on in a year.
Hosted or self-hosted? Shopify, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Ecwid, Sellfy, Volusion, Shift4Shop and Webflow run the software for you. WooCommerce, PrestaShop Classic and OpenCart put hosting, updates and security on you or your developer.
How many products? Several entry plans cap items: Ecwid Starter at 10, Volusion Personal at 100 and Webflow Standard at 500.
Where else will you sell? If marketplaces or wholesale are in your plan, check channel support before launch. Ecwid, for example, adds marketplace selling only from its Business plan.
Will a warehouse connect to it? Once you ship more orders than you can pack yourself, the platform has to pass orders to a 3PL and take tracking and inventory back. Check this before you build the store, not after.
Connecting Your Store to a 3PL
When orders outgrow your spare room, the platform becomes the front end of a fulfillment operation. The store sends each order to the warehouse, the warehouse sends tracking back, and inventory counts have to stay in sync between the two. How easily that works depends on the platform. Fulfill.com lists providers by the platforms they connect to:
We do not have a dedicated page yet for Shift4Shop (3dcart), PrestaShop, OpenCart, Ecwid, Volusion or Weebly. For those, ask each 3PL whether it has a direct connector to your platform or works through middleware, and ask to talk to a client that runs the same platform.
Middleware is the usual route for the smaller platforms. Pipe17 connects storefronts to 3PLs and ERPs through more than 300 connectors it maintains, and it handles order routing and inventory visibility. Its integration list covers Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, PrestaShop and Ecwid.
If you still ship in-house from ShipStation, the step before a 3PL is often automating the shipping decisions your team makes by hand. String builds and maintains rate selection, box selection and warehouse routing rules inside an existing ShipStation account, so your team keeps working in ShipStation.

FAQ
Which ecommerce platform is best for a small business?
It depends on what you sell and who will maintain the site. For a hosted store selling physical products, Shopify and BigCommerce have entry plans, app ecosystems and 3PL connections to grow into. If you already run WordPress, WooCommerce avoids a platform subscription. For a small catalog, Weebly has a $0 plan and Ecwid Starter is $5 a month billed yearly, and Sellfy fits digital products.
What is the cheapest ecommerce platform to start with?
By published price, Weebly has a $0 plan with a shopping cart, and Ecwid Starter is $5 a month billed yearly for up to 10 products. WooCommerce, OpenCart and PrestaShop Classic charge no platform subscription, but you pay for hosting and extensions. Check transaction fees as well as the monthly price: Squarespace Basic and Webflow Standard each take 2% of online sales.
Do ecommerce platforms charge transaction fees?
Some do. Squarespace Basic and Webflow Standard charge 2%, and Shopify and BigCommerce add a fee when you use a payment provider outside their own or embedded options. Ecwid and Sellfy say they charge none, though Sellfy may charge 2% on sales above your plan's cap if you do not upgrade. Card processing is a separate cost on every platform; on the entry plans of Shopify and Squarespace it starts at 2.9% plus 30 cents.
Which ecommerce platforms work with 3PLs?
Fulfill.com lists 3PLs that connect to Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, Squarespace and Wix (see the 3PL section above). For other platforms, ask the 3PL directly or connect through middleware such as Pipe17.
