Southern Trading Solutions is a third-party logistics provider based at 191 Charter Place in La Vergne, Tennessee, within the Nashville metropolitan area. The company was founded in 2022 and is owned by Michael Barber and Trent Ganstine, who each bring more than 25 years of industry experience. Barber previously spent over 20 years with a local promotional products distributor, where he oversaw the customer service team and warehouse and distribution operations and managed national contracts for clients including AAA, the SEC and Bridgestone. Ganstine has held senior-level positions at several 3PL companies, managing warehouse operations across multiple states. Southern Trading Solutions operates across three service lines. Its warehousing services cover short and long term storage, cross docking, container unloading, returns processing, pallet wrapping and banding, and inventory management with real-time tracking. Its kitting and assembly work includes inspection and rework, label printing and application, collating and inserting, shrink wrapping, and Amazon FBA prep. Its fulfillment services cover ecommerce order picking, packing and shipping, subscription programs, B2B and D2C distribution, and presorted parcel bulk mailing.
