Coordinadora Overview
Coordinadora Mercantil S.A. is a Colombian logistics and parcel company founded on 10 February 1967 by Anibal Obando, and was the first paqueteo, or consolidated parcel, operator in Colombia. Its fulfillment arm, marketed as Coordinadora Full, provides third-party warehousing and order fulfillment for small, medium and large businesses. The company operates four fulfillment warehouses, located in Medellin, Bogota, Cali and Barranquilla. The service covers inbound receiving, storage with inventory control and rotation by expiry date, picking, packing, labeling and dispatch, with real-time traceability and status notifications. Orders are dispatched within a maximum of 24 hours of confirmation, and the system selects the warehouse closest to the delivery destination in order to reduce transit time and shipping cost. Storage is billed at 40,000 Colombian pesos per cubic meter with a one-pallet minimum. Coordinadora integrates with WooCommerce, Shopify and Tiendanube through a logistics plugin, and also offers web service integrations, cash on delivery, prepaid shipping and dropshipping logistics. Beyond fulfillment the group runs domestic courier, parcel, merchandise and air cargo services across Colombia, operates the Puntos Droop drop-off and collection network, and ships internationally to more than 220 countries and territories.
