AutoStore is the inventor and leading provider of cube-based warehouse automation, delivering the highest storage density available. The system uses robots operating on an aluminum grid to retrieve and deliver inventory bins to pick stations, enabling efficient goods-to-person order fulfillment.
3PLs seeking maximum storage density and goods-to-person picking efficiency, particularly in space-constrained facilities.

AutoStore, headquartered in Nedre Vats, Norway, invented cube-based warehouse automation in 1996. The system has since been deployed in over 1,250 installations across 50+ countries, storing billions of inventory bins.
AutoStore systems consist of aluminum grid structures, stackable bins, robots, and workstations. Inventory is stored in bins stacked within the grid. Robots travel on top of the grid, digging down to retrieve requested bins and delivering them to ergonomic workstations where operators pick items.
Third-party logistics providers invest in AutoStore to dramatically increase storage capacity and picking efficiency. The cube-based design stores up to 4x more inventory in the same footprint as traditional shelving. Goods-to-person picking eliminates travel time, increasing picks per hour by 5-10x.
AutoStore systems scale from small installations with a few robots to massive systems with hundreds of robots and millions of bins. Adding capacity is straightforward - simply add more bins, grid sections, robots, or workstations.
AutoStore integrates with major WMS platforms through standardized APIs. The system's software manages robot traffic, optimizes bin placement, and provides analytics on system performance.
