Nexus Distribution is a Chicago-area third-party logistics provider headquartered at 6220 West 73rd Street in Bedford Park, Illinois. Established in 1980, the company operates from a 390,000-square-foot food grade warehouse facility featuring 28-foot ceilings, 25 truck docks, and 14 rail doors. Nexus Distribution is strategically connected to the CSX intermodal terminal via a private half-mile roadway known as the Chicago Land Bridge, allowing drayage services between warehouses and rail facilities without touching public roads. Rail service is provided by The Belt Railway Company of Chicago, the largest intermediate switching terminal railroad in the United States. Under the direct ownership of CEO Kelsey Hansen, Nexus provides comprehensive contract warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, and integrated supply chain management services. The company supports API integration, electronic data interchange (EDI), RF scanning, and warehouse management system (WMS) capabilities through its partnership with Ramp Systems. Nexus Distribution holds food safety certifications including MDARD, FDA, NSF, and CME compliance, making it well-suited for food and beverage, consumer goods, and industrial product storage and distribution throughout the Midwest region.
